Julie Jamieson (husband Dave) and Sheila Sugerman (husband Nathan) have a great background in painting and we’re so fortunate to have them a part of our Oak Run family of artists.

Both are from the Northeast and have been in Oak Run for several years. Both are skilled in a multitude of mediums – watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastels and anything else you can think of. With their talent and creativity they both have and continue to create beautiful artwork.

Julie is a trained graphic artist who worked as a sign painter for many years until technology did away with the profession. Can you imagine Julie 30 feet up a ladder painting a billboard? Wow!

Sheila is also a professional artist who has trained under many notable instructors and has the awards to prove how outstanding her work is. She also is accomplished as a performer and singer.

Since joining ACOR, both have painted as “plein air” artists. That is, they are “painting on location.” They pack up a small bundle of supplies and head for the best Florida scenery found in local parks and other areas from Crystal River to Shalom Park.
