Florida Watercolor Society

We are very excited to have the Florida Watercolor Society’s 2023 Convention & Trade Show held here in Ocala this year. The Convention will be held at the Hilton Ocala (3600 SW 36th Avenue) and runs from Friday, September 29th through Saturday, September 30th. This is an amazing opportunity to see some terrific demonstrations, stock up on supplies at their Market Place, and see the grand showing of the 100 pieces of water medium artwork that will be displayed at the Webber Center. We’ve invited Susan Jane Donohoe to meet with us to discuss what the convention includes for artists of all mediums… including short volunteer opportunities for ACOR members.

Most workshops will be before the Convention begin Monday, September 25th through September 28th. As is their tradition, they open the 2023 Convention with Andy Evansen’s demonstration at 7pm on September 28th. The 52nd Annual Exhibition Reception is Friday, September 29th at the Webber Gallery and the Gala Awards Dinner is Saturday, September 30th at the hotel.
